Jacob Hill, Founder of Offploy, describes:
Offploy is a peer-led social enterprise that supports people with criminal convictions to realise their potential and overcome barriers to progression. We do this by taking candidates through a nine-step candidate journey that takes them closer and into meaningful, mentored and sustainable employment.
Alongside this work, we support employers and prepare them to recruit people with criminal convictions safely and fairly as part of their business as usual process.
We operate this service because employment reduces reoffending, which makes society safer and creates fewer victims of crime. We are proudly peer-led, with over 70% of the team having lived experience of the criminal justice system.

Offploy has been absolutely brilliant. I cannot thank Dave and Leah enough for their support they have provided me with.
I first came on programme when I was fresh out of prison and unsure what types of roles would be suitable for me as I had been out of work for so long. Leah supported me to develop a new CV, a cover letter and disclosure letter and Dave pushed me further and helped me to find a job. They supported me every step of the way and ensured that I slipped into my new role with ease which really helped to build my confidence and make my mark as a new employee.
Thank you Offploy, I truly would not have found this job if it wasn’t for your help and support.
